The latest support secured from the Arts Council England Grants for the Arts programme for acta‘s touring community theatre projects has been for the new Malcolm X Elders’ show, touring Autumn 13. This follows support for the Goblin Silver show show in 2012.

Neil Beddow, Artistic Director says:

We are encouraged by this support for our innovative community theatre touring programme, which makes theatre affordable & accessible to parts of the City where there is little or no arts provision.

Earlier in 2012, acta also secured Catalyst Arts programme support & match funding for the Company’s new fundraising strategy.

We are absolutely delighted to secure this grant, which is much needed support for our exciting programme of work, and also underlines the Arts Council’s belief in the work of acta.
