Young carers aged 10 – 18 from across Bristol and beyond are invited to actacentre for a “play in 3 days” challenge – free transport provided – next on 24 – 26 July.
Mondays (1.30 – 3pm) 6 March and 3 April at actacentre – join elders from the Malcolm X Theatre Co for fun improvisation, games and laughter. All welcome.
Wednesday evenings at actacentre, all ages & abilities welcome to join. Stay for a drink in the Theatre Bar and open mic night, on the first Wednesday of the month.
Fun, free kids theatre at the Greenway Centre in Southmead. New local children welcome (years 5 & 6, ages 9-11yrs). Mondays 3.40 – 5.00pm at the Greenway Centre in Southmead. Some spaces remaining; show at Greenway on Saturday 16 July.
A new Get Together FUN – FREE- LOCAL programme of arts workshops opens at acta centre on 7 September, for all ages, all welcome! Includes community choir, a new youth theatre and Making Time for older people.
Young adults aged 16 – 25 yrs are invited to take part in the next Phoenix Theatre project, currently devising in weekly Thursday evening term-time workshops, 6.30 – 8.30pm. Create a new show to perform at the acta centre in December.
Starting Tuesday 24 February, 10 – 12, acta starts a new project in partnership with SPAN at the Silai Centre in Easton, to create a show to perform later this year. Open to all single parents – no previous experience necessary – free crèche available (call acta to book).
