Live on stage, the much-loved story of a small creature who lives his life always trying to fit in but never does, because he's Something Else. Then one day a stranger turns up who wants to be friends… But does Something Else want to know someone who's not like him?

Deafinitely Theatre, the UK’s leading deaf theatre company, bring this award-winning picture book to life in a captivating production that combines the power of British Sign Language with the immediacy of spoken English, making it ideal for deaf and hearing audiences alike.

A story for children aged 3+ and their families celebrating everyone's right to be different.

Following its sell-out tour in 2015, Deafinitely Theatre’s bilingual production of Something Else comes to the actacentre in Bristol as part of a new tour of England.

‘Deafinitely, I’d say, theatre for everyone.’ The Guardian

Following the performance, there will be a short post-show session open to the audience exploring the themes of the piece and staging bilingual theatre - an opportunity to meet the cast and members of the Creative Team and learn some sign language.
