This week we’ve been joined by Teya-Elise on her secondary school work experience placement. We’ve loved having her as part of the team and will miss her keen insights and fresh perspective. Teya-Elise was kind enough to leave us with a write-up of her experiences and we thought we’d share it here too.
“My name is Teya-Elise and I have been a part of the acta community for just under ten years. I have had the opportunity to be able to have a work experience placement with acta and work closely with the incredible core team. This week has been amazing! Getting to see behind the scenes of the company itself and taking part in every aspect from costumes to production to running workshops and more…
This week I’ve worked with people from all walks and different ages of life- each person had something different to offer and share with me. I’ve had so many laughs and so many new and eye-opening experiences- and potential opportunities too.
I hope to continue working closely with acta and I would definitely recommend the workshops and opportunities they offer to anyone- especially anyone who loves any area of the arts. There is something for everyone to enjoy and be a part of.
Thank you acta for making my week so special and welcoming me with such open arms.”
We wish Teya-Elise all the best and look forward to seeing her in Lockleaze Youth Theatre’s What If? on 26th March.
