Join us at acta’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and end of term celebration at actacentre on the evening of Monday 23 July.
The meeting will be held from 6.00pm in the Studio, and will feature a sneak preview of the REACT (Refugee Engagement And integration through Community Theatre) documentary film, from film-maker Benjie Croce.
The AGM will be followed by live music in the theatre; we are delighted to welcome The Big However, who promise a warm, surprising, human, difficult to categorise, collaborative noise featuring cello, clarinet, accordion, guitar, bass, drums and mandolin. Using discarded musicians found locally, The Big However play their own peculiar version of post truth, sub-tonic, melodic, South Bristolian lo-fi, folk, indie.
All acta friends, participants and partners (adults only) are welcome to this free event. Please bring a plate of food to share. The Theatre Bar (licensed) will be open (last orders at 8.30pm)
