How much of acta’s work has been a political response to the inequalities of our society, theatre and the arts? Is acta a political organisation?

acta’s next touring community theatre show previews at the actacentre in March, before touring to Bristol neighbourhoods in June. This WWI centenary show tells a remarkable local story. Box office for all performances is now open, with tickets just £3.

acta announces plans to extend the acta centre towards Palmerston Street, to make a multi-purpose space available for community events, and as a second rehearsal & performance space. It will also add a bar/lounge area to the foyer, improving the facilities for our theatre audiences, and create dressing room space & cast toilets in a new backstage area.
