We are delighted to announce that acta has been awarded funding from the Postcode Local Trust to resume our Thursdays group – now renamed Pick’n’mix Theatre!
This weekly group Thursdays is a free, open access drama group for adults in Bedminster.
A project that supports and connects isolated older people with school children, providing connection and creativity in their homes.
Culminating in the Exhibition of Hope on 21 + 22 May.

acta has just heard that our bid to Arts Council England and Department of Communities & Local Government (DCLG), to extend the Get Together programme in Redcliffe and beyond, has been granted. Look out for initial community theatre projects from parents at Hannah More Primary, and with mums at Autism Independence.
The latest support secured from the Arts Council England Grants for the Arts programme for acta‘s touring community theatre projects has been for the new Malcolm X Elders’ show, touring Autumn 13. This follows support for the Goblin Silver show
