Rosalie and Ingrid are off to Bielsko-Biała in Poland to visit good friends at Teatr Grodzki in February. Two years ago, as part of the Medart project, acta shared one of their favourite devising methods, a ‘Julie Story’.

It is a cooperative story-building exercise based around the creation of a single character, Julie. Facilitators ask group members to consider a range of questions e.g. where does she live; who lives with her; who lives next door; what is the biggest thing that is worrying her at the moment?

Teatr Grodzki used this method back in Poland to create their latest show, and they will be putting on a special performance for Rosalie and Ingrid who cannot wait to watch it!
